OOTD: California Dreaming

Hello there,

I haven't done an outfit post in such a long time so when I went shopping I couldn't resist snapping this quick and casual outfit. Now that it's warming up I have done away with my big jackets and over-sized jumpers and opted for bare arms. I know some may still find London too chilly for this but what can I say? I suffer for style!

OOTD: Kimono In

Welcome back!

Lately I have been doing so many fashion week posts and although I loved fashion week I thought I would break up the flux of posts with a good old fashioned outfit of the day.

I wore this outfit on the weekend to just chill out with my fiancé and see some of our friends. I don't know what it is but there is something about this look that makes me feel mysterious and feminine at the same time. I love the combination of the dark colour palette and tough boots with the floral pattern and flowy material.

London Fashion Week Presentation: Little Shilpa

Welcome back!

That's right, it's another London Fashion Week blog post. I have already written about Niro Wang, House of MEA and Jeff Garner but today I am going to be talking about a presentation I saw about a designer collection called Little Shilpa.

Little Shilpa is predominantly a brand of headpieces. However, more recently, designer Shilpa Chavan has branched out into apparel. Little Shilpa is perhaps most famous for making headpieces for pop-star Lady Gaga.

Bold striking patterns dominated the collection. There was a heavy use of linear shapes complete with a contrasting pastel colour palette. The large geometric inspired patterns were reminiscent of the 80's- a big upcoming trend that I saw at quite a few other shows and presentations.

There were many different textures used in the collection from a fluffy towel like materials to a stretchy glitter elastic. Although the textures made the pieces quite busy I still found that it worked. The unusual combinations paired with the casual silhouettes worked together well to create a unique and artistic collection.

The main attraction was of course the tulle headpieces. Extravagant and bold in shape and design but soft in colour and material gave the collection a beautiful balance. Every headpiece was a different shape and colour giving each piece a distinct personality.

What was your favourite part of the Little Shilpa presentation? Comment down below and stay tuned for more London Fashion Week posts coming soon!

OOTD: Cool Cat

Welcome back!

I just love winter fashion. Faux fur, turtle necks and woolly tights; all such staples in a winter wardrobe. Luckily, this outfit has all three. I wore this look for a day out in London. So considering London weather, I needed to wrap up warm. I don't know about you but I am certainly not one to compromise on style even when the weather is horrible.

Unfortunately I didn't get many photographs but I hope these two will do the look justice. Enjoy!

OOTD: Cozy Casual

Welcome back!

It's been a long time since I posted an outfit of the day but I am back with vengeance and determined to get my A game back on.

I have been a little busy at work and with filming for my YouTube channel so I know there haven't been as many fashion posts on here as I would like. On another note my Star Wars blog series is definitely not over! There will be another one next week so keep your eyes peeled!

Nonetheless let's get on with this outfit. I wore this one chilly day out walking and exploring with my fiancé. This outfit goes to show that you don't have to compromise on fashion even when it's a little cold.

Star Wars Series: R2D2 Dress

Welcome back!

Last month the latest Star Wars film came out and like so many other people out there I was going nuts. I was so excited! Anyway, I saw the film with my fiancé. It was brilliant. If you haven't seen it yet (who are you?!) then I would seriously recommend you go. Like now.

To celebrate all things Star Wars I thought I would create a blog series where (you guessed it) I will talk about everything Star Wars...

In this post I am going to show you my favourite piece of Star Wars clothing; my R2D2 skater dress.

Isn't it just the cutest dress you have ever seen?

The material of the dress is a cotton blend. It is really soft and of quite good quality as far as promo items like this go. The print seems pretty sturdy too; I have washed it a few times and it hasn't cracked or anything.

I love the heart R2D2 detail on the shoulder of the dress, it just adds that extra bit of sweetness.

It is a rather long dress and comes to my knees. I am 5ft 9 inches so that it pretty long for a skater dress but I still think it looks really flattering. The bottom half of the dress is blue with a grey rim around the hem which adds just a little bit more detail.

Overall the perfect Star Wars fan dress! Stay tuned for an outfit of the day post coming soon!

OOTD: Ding Disney

Welcome back!

I know Christmas has passed but I had these photos stored in my memory card and thought I would share them with you. I wore this outfit when I went Christmas shopping in London and saw the Disney Christmas tree in Kings Cross. Of course, this outfit could be worn all throughout the winter season, its simple and most importantly warm and cosy! Enjoy.

OOTD: Holiday Hues

Welcome back!

If you follow me on social media you will probably know that for the past two weeks I have been in Orlando, Florida (stay tuned for photo diaries and videos). While I was there I took advantage of the beautiful weather and stunning landscapes to take a few photos of my holiday outfits. I wore this first outfit out shopping in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney) and then to watch the Wishes fireworks show at Magic Kingdom. Please excuse my rather sunburnt face. And I'd like to thank my lovely partner who took the photos for me. Enjoy!

OOTD: Stripes Lot

Welcome back!

I have been really enjoying the combination of a classic fedora hat and long cardigan lately. I don't know why but it makes me feel completely feminine and totally bad ass at the same time. I also love my black pinafore, a timeless piece with a classic silhouette. This outfit was really comfortable and I wore it to run a few errands around town. Enjoy!
