Star Wars Series: C3PO Make-Up Tutorial

Welcome back!

I have finally got back on to YouTube after a little break and I thought that I'd carry on with my Star Wars blog/vlog series. If you haven't already pop over to my YouTube and give me a subscribe, I'd really appreciate it.

Anyway I thought that this week I would do a C3PO inspired make-up tutorial. It was so fun to play around with golds and yellows (colours I don't usually go for!). Here are the products I used.

Here is the finished look. As you can see I didn't want to go for just a gold smokey eye look. I wanted to go full out and make my face actually look like robotic parts. Let me know what you think of this look down below in the comments.

And here is the video. I will in insert it into this blog post, but the quality is alot better if you actually view it on YouTube. If you want the full list of products I used pop over to the video on my YouTube channel here and open the description box.

Star Wars Series: The Dark Side Make-Up Tutorial

Welcome back!

If you're here because of Star Wars then you have probably seen my latest posts about my favourite fangirl dress and R2D2 inspired make-up. Well, this week's post is going to be a make-up look inspired by the dark side. This is not to be confused with the sith (I'm going to do a separate look on that). The video to go along with this is still being edited but I thought I would show you some photos of the finished look. Enjoy!

As I said above this make-up look was just inspired by the dark side and not an exact representation. This is just my interpretation. I am honestly having so much fun with this blog series and if any of you have any ideas on what I should do next let me know in the comments down below. Stay tuned for more Star Wars themed posts coming soon.

Star Wars Series: R2D2 Dress

Welcome back!

Last month the latest Star Wars film came out and like so many other people out there I was going nuts. I was so excited! Anyway, I saw the film with my fiancĂ©. It was brilliant. If you haven't seen it yet (who are you?!) then I would seriously recommend you go. Like now.

To celebrate all things Star Wars I thought I would create a blog series where (you guessed it) I will talk about everything Star Wars...

In this post I am going to show you my favourite piece of Star Wars clothing; my R2D2 skater dress.

Isn't it just the cutest dress you have ever seen?

The material of the dress is a cotton blend. It is really soft and of quite good quality as far as promo items like this go. The print seems pretty sturdy too; I have washed it a few times and it hasn't cracked or anything.

I love the heart R2D2 detail on the shoulder of the dress, it just adds that extra bit of sweetness.

It is a rather long dress and comes to my knees. I am 5ft 9 inches so that it pretty long for a skater dress but I still think it looks really flattering. The bottom half of the dress is blue with a grey rim around the hem which adds just a little bit more detail.

Overall the perfect Star Wars fan dress! Stay tuned for an outfit of the day post coming soon!
