Welcome back!
I cannot believe another whole year has gone by so quickly. When I look back on the year I have had I am grateful, happy, excited and overwhelmed all at the same time.
My blog and my online presence in general has grown so much this year and I cannot thank all of my lovely readers enough. This is a huge part of my life and I am so happy I have been able to share it with such a unique, wide audience. I have readers all over the world; from the USA to Australia, from Russia to South Korea. It makes me feel like I have friends in every corner of the globe and I love each and everyone of you so much.
That's why I thought I would share with you some of my favourite moments of 2015. And please, comment down below your favourite parts of your 2015! I want to know what you all got up to. Well, without further delay, here are my best parts of 2015.
1. I went to London fashion week.
This is all thanks to my last boss, Denise. Not only did she provide me with amazing work opportunities but she gave me the chance to attend one of the world's biggest fashion events. I had so much fun taking photographs and just basking in the glamour, excitement and ambience that is London fashion week. I am so grateful for the experience and fun I had there. I will always remember it!
2. I helped produce two fashion magazine.
If you know me, you probably also know about my dream to someday be a fashion journalist. Well, this year I got a little taste of how it could potentially be. At university I became a sub-editor of a woman's career magazine. Although it was not strictly fashion there were a few fashion features included about city style, the life of a fashion stylist and office fashion. In addition to this I assisted in creating a pilot fashion magazine which included interviews, style pages and fashion features. They were both so much fun to put together (as well as exhausting!) But it was worth it. It has just motivated me more to chase my dream!
3. I got engaged!
I don't think I ever did a post about this. But I got engaged this year to my long term boyfriend whilst we were on weekend away in Exeter. I won't bore any of you too much about this as I know people don't like hearing about soppy waffle. But this was the best part of my 2015 and I am incredibly happy. The happiest I have ever been. He is a huge part of my life. As well as my fiancé he is my best friend. We do everything together and I couldn't be more grateful for how lucky I am to have him in my life. I honestly wouldn't be me without him.
4. I graduated.
After three years of studying for my journalism and creative writing degree I finally graduated! The whole graduation ceremony made me happy, proud, relieved, overwhelmed and sad. I was proud of my accomplishment and the grade that I achieved. However I was sad that my university experience was over. I love learning so much and to have to leave that, for a little while at least, makes me very sad. Of course, I do also miss the student life of having spare time, sleeping in, hanging out with my friends and having loads of holidays!
5. I got a graduate job.
After just one month of being a graduate I got a graduate job. I know that I am extremely lucky to have even received interviews let alone a job offer. I am very grateful to all of the people who helped me get there, whether it was for support, motivation or both. For without them, I probably wouldn't have a job right now. I am excited to start my full-time career and I am so excited for what is around the corner!
6. I went to Florida.
To top off a pretty amazing year I spent Halloween in Disney world, Florida with my family and fiancé. I stayed on Disney world property and it was so magical! I have already been to Disney world a few times, but I just love it so much I went back again! There is always so much to do there as the theme parks are always being improved. I spent two amazing weeks there in the sun, eating sweets and meeting Mickey Mouse!
Thank you 2015 for being such an amazing year! I will not forget it. But here is to 2016 and what's coming next. I can't wait.
